Rock Climbing Access to Skaha Bluffs Finally Secured

Good things can happen when individuals and organizations with the same mind-set pull on the same rope.

Latest example: The Skaha Bluffs in South Okanagan, BC.

After twenty years of struggle to secure public access to the Bluffs, a popular rock climbing area, the final milestone has been reached with signing a C$5.2 million landmark deal – a joint effort of the province of BC, Nature Conservancy of Canada, Climber’s Access Society as well as MEC (Mountain Equipment Coop), TLC (The Land Conservancy) and others.
